Lab Data Interface

Palo Colorado Software was the lead of a distributed team that built the Calinx RX Verify application in support of the California Clinical Data project. This application is used to validate and transfer data between labs and healthcare providers throughout California.

We designed the system architecture and provided development planning, use case analysis, API design, final quality assurance (QA) and system and user documentation. We  also worked closely with the client stake-holders throughout development to ensure a successful project.

Key features of the application include:

• Data validation
• Data scrubbing
• Data transformations
• User defined data import formats
• User defined data export formats
• GUI and command line user interfaces
• Application programming interface (API) for integration into automated processes
• Windows help system
• Full user and technical documentation

The software was Implemented using C#.Net, Microsoft JET database, XML and Data Access Objects (DAO.)
